There are operating system requirements for the printer's firmwar
upgrade processes. Please use one of the methods described in th

file to ensure a successful upgrade.
The HPLaserJet 5100 series network bundled printer comes with a
HPWeb Access DIMM. This DIMM, along with HPLaserJet 5100 Web Acces
feature, provides remote printer capabilities over th
Internet.
This HPWeb Access release is targeted for customers that woul
like to add the e-mail and alertsfunctionality to their Web Acces
DIMM. It is also targeted for customers that have purchased a
HPLaserJet 5100 printer with a blank HPWeb Access DIMM installed
This upgrade will provide the HPWeb Access capabilities and e-mai
alerts functionality for the HPLaserJet 5100 printer. For mor
information on the HPWeb Access feature please refer to th

Download into a temporary directory of your choice.
Run the file name to extract. Please note that this fil
extracts into a directory. You will have the opportunity to chang
the drive and directory.
You are now ready to perform the upgrade process. For
successful upgrade, these file(s) MUST be prepared per th
'Upgrade' instructions in the

file.
